Daughter of Elijah and Nancy Phillips Swope Married Harlin Redman in 1861 in Champaign County, Illinois. Harlin was the son of Vincent Redman and Levicy Bennett Redman. One daughter was born while they lived in Champaign County that being Mary Etta. Before 1875 they came to Edna, Kansas and 3 more children were born: a daughter who died at birth and two other daughters, Anna May and Maggie R. Harlin is also buried at Leib Cemetery but no stone makes his burial.
