Mrs Anna Collins, Edna Resident 69 years, Succumbs
EDNA(JNS)-Mr. Anna Collins,75,a resident of this vicinity for 69 years, died at her home here this morning after a two-month illness. Mrs Collins was born September 29,1877, at Vaughnsville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs William Bennett. In 1898 she and Charles McBride were married. A later marriage occurred in 1916 to Oscar Collins, who preceded her in death. She was a member of RNA camp No. 1473, Rebekah Lodge No. 155, and the Past Noble Grand Club, all of Edna. Survivors include a son, Francis Collins, Nowata, two daughters, Mrs Leo McKee, 104 Elm, Coffeyville, and Mrs Lora Nading, of the home address; three brothers, Clayton Bennett, Mound Valley, R L Bennett, Chetopa, and John Bennett, Bartlett; three sisters, Mrs Will Thorn, Clyde, Ohio, Mrs Lloyd Anderson, South Greenfield, Missouri, and Mrs Clyde Phillips, Lafayette, Colorado; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
