Chelsea, Oklahoma - Genevieve E Babcock of Chelsea, Oklahoma, died Friday, November 8, 2002, at Claremore Regional Hospital after a long illness. She was 84 years old. Mrs Babcock was born July 16, 1918 in Labette County, Kansas, to Forest William and Sarah Grace McKnight Seger. She attended country schools in the Craig/Labette County area. On May 16, 1935, she married Leo Babcock in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple moved to Chelsea in 1980 to be close to their children. Mrs Babcock was preceded in death by her parents; twin infant sons, Ronald and Raymond; 2 brothers, Albert and Earl Seger; and 1 sister, Carrie Maxworthy. She is survived by her husband, Leo, of the home; 1 son, Roy Darrell Babock, Owasso, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Deloris Ann Andrews; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
