HALSTEAD -- Mildred L Dielman, 86, of Halstead, died Monday September 20, 1999 at Friendly Acres Retirement Community in Newton. She was born February 10, 1913, in McPherson to Martin and Sadie Smith Grant. She married Wilfred P "Fritz" Dielman July 12, 1934, in Lyons. He preceded her in death May 28, 1985.
She was a hairdresser. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, both of Halstead, and Order of the Eastern Star and Rebekahs Lodge, both of Newton.
Survivors include one son, Daryl Dielman of Pasadena, California, and one brother, Udel "Udie" Grant of McPherson. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Ira Grant.
