Daughter of Thomas and Myrtle Hutchinson Gardner. She taught school at Ensign, Fowler and Montezuma. She also farmed with her husband, retiring to Fort Dodge in 1997. On April 13, 1952, she married Howard Beggs in Montezuma. He preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by a grandson; and a granddaughter.
