March 10, 1896 - April 23, 1944
Walter is the son of William Wesley Cary and Nancy Jane (Carter) Cary. He married Verdie Katherine Devinney on May 25, 1918 at Junction City, Kansas. They had two children: Barbara Jean and Billie.
Walter died from burns he received in a explosion and fire at the Co-Op Refinery in Coffeyville, Kansas in 1944.
