Accident Happened Near Angola - Was Veteran of Civil War and Pioneer Citizen of Labette County

A S Dresser, who came to Labette county in 1873 and for many years was a prominent Howard township farmer, met with an accidental death at 8 o'clock Monday morning when he was struck by a southbound M K & T freight train a few rods west of the depot at Angola, Kansas. Mr Dresser for sometime had been making his home with a daughter, Mrs David Hoobler who resides two and a half mile east of Angola.
