November 17, 1840 - April 7, 1875
Amanda was born in Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Sally Henry Laswell. She became the wife of John Otto Turner on January 27, 1859 in Sangamon County, IL.
Amanda died giving birth to her 6th child, John at age 34. Baby John died on October 5, 1875 at 5 months 28 days old.
