December 4, 1858 - August 23, 1931
O. A. Turner, son of Daniel A. and Mary Turner, was born near Sedalia, Mo., December 4, 1858, and departed this life August 23, 1931, at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 9 days.
When a small boy he moved with his parents to Brown county, Ill., where he grew to manhood. He came to Bourbon county at the age of 23, where he was married to Mary T. Turner, who survives him, April 5, 1882. Had he lived until next April they would have been married fifty years.
To this union was born five children, one dying in infancy. Those surviving are Mrs. Henry (Esther "Annie") Cady, Bronson, Alva and Ben Turner, of Uniontown, and Mrs. Kenneth (Alma) Keith Bronson, also 11 grand children; one brother who lives in Illinois, and a host of friends to mourn his departure.
A short funeral service was conducted at the grave. Interment was made in the Hatch cemetery.
