Mrs. Ona Barlow Lockridge, 89, Uniontown, died today at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 21, 1891 near Mapleton, the daughter of Thomas and Naomi Neece Likely. She first married Scott Barlow in 1911. He died in 1953. She married J. C. Lockridge on Oct 18, 1955 in Fort Scott. He died Sept 9, 1959. Mrs. Lockridge had lived most of her life in the Uniontown area. She was a member of Uniontown Baptist church, Mary A. Hepler Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star,
and Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include two sons: Truman Barlow of Uniontown, and Bill Barlow of Roeland Park; four step-children: John Lockridge and Mrs. Alice Williams, both of Redfield; and Mrs. Louise Chamberlain and Mrs. Ellen Smith, both of Iola; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
