Lois Alexander, 93, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010. Cremation will be done with a private family funeral service to be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Lois was born May 9, 1917 in Hanston, Kansas to Jess & Myrtle Black Horton. She was united in marriage to Ralph Alexander June 13, 1936 in Dodge City, Kansas. Lois and her husband operated the family farm in Burdett, Kansas for many years before retiring and moving to Casa Grande, Arizona. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1991.
Survivors include sons Gail (Martha) Alexander, Pasadena, Texas & Gene (Carol) Alexander, Portland, Oregon; daughters Kay (Gary) Hendershot, Davenport, Iowa, Nancy (Cecil) Wikel, Ward, Arkansas & Mary (Dave) Godfrey, Ajo, Arizona; 11 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren;1 Great Great Grandchild;Several Nieces & Nephews
