A Mass of Christian burial for Irene T. Holloran, 89, Garnett, will be said at 10 am Monday at the Holy Angels Catholic Church in Garnett with the Revs. Denis Pickert and George Matz officiating. A wake service will be at 7 pm Sunday at the Farris-Feuerborn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery.
Mrs Holloran died Friday at the Anderson County Hospital in Garnett.
She was born June 11, 1910, in Richmond. She and her husband owned and operated a grocery store in Garnett for many years before she retired several years ago.
She married Mathias Charles Holloran on Aug. 12, 1930, in Richmond. He died in April 1971.
Survivors include a son, Charles, Garnett; three daughters, Luquian Marmon and Connie Hermreck, both of Garnett, and Jorene "Jody" Woods, Lawrence; a sister, Clara Hermreck, Richmond; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
