She came to Kansas with her parents in 1871 and settled in Harvey county, She married Charles M kendall in 1887. Their only child Ruby was born in 1889 and passed away in 1907.They moved to Seattle,Washington in 1913 for her health.While there all there furniture and household goods where lost in a fire that burned a large portion of downtown Newton.
They then moved back to Kansas and lived in Parsons as her illness got worse her father urging she came back to Newton on Nov 11,1925 and passed away Dec 20,1925.Her husband moved back to California.Charles died in 1945 and his body was cremated
