Born Elgin, Chautauqua County, Kansas
Died Ponca City, Oklahoma

Married Bert J. Prouty May 13, 1894. They were the first couple married at Ponca City, then known as Cross, after the opening of the Cherokee Strip. They moved to Newton in 1898, and Bert died in 1918. She married Arleigh Hauck in 1919 and he died in 1947. She moved later that year to Long Beach, Ca., and to Ponca City in July of 1962 to live with her daughter.

Children: four sons and five daughters, Fred or Frank Prouty, Joe Prouty, Harry Prouty and Arleigh Hauck
Opal, Mira, Mildred and Thelma.
One daughter Pansey died in 1898
Daughter of Newton Henry Weaver & Miriam Green Cooper
Wife of Bert James Prouty & Arleigh Blair Hauck
