Jo Ann Beougher, 77, of Raytown, Missouri passed away December 31, 2013. She spent her life specializing in early childhood education, and was the principal of Wee Wisdom Montessori Preschool at Unity Village for many years. Jo Ann was an avid Hallmark Card / Ornament Collector. She is preceded in death by her husband, Loren and her father, Harold. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Irene Bethurum of Paola, Kansas; 3 sons, Ray Von (Kelly), Roy Vern, Kevin Lee (Linda); 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Loren Carl Beougher, 79, of Raytown, Missouri passed away on October 5, 2012. Local visitation will be Oct 11 from 6-8pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday Oct 13 at the Methodist Church in Gove, Kansas. Visitation at 10 am, services at 11. Burial at Gove Cemetery with military honors. Loren was born in Orion, Kansas October 17, 1932 to Merlyn and Vivian Beougher. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Oriskany in Korea from 1951-1955. He earned a BSEE from Kansas State University in 1958. He married Jo Ann Bethurum of Paola, Kansas August 23, 1960. He earned a MSEE in 1968 and PhD EE in 1971 from the University of Missouri. He worked for Bendix until his retirement in 1986. He is preceded in death by his sister, Ima Lee Heier. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jo Ann; 2 brothers, Marvin and Elton; 3 sons, Ray Von (Kelly), Roy Vern, Kevin Lee (Linda); 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
