Services were Saturday at the Christian Church in LaCygne for Edna Louise Arzberger, 86, LaCygne, who died Jan. 17, 2001, at home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1914, in Linn County, to Henry and Stella Boyd Bergman, and she spent most of her life in Linn County.
She was a member of the LaCygne Christian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher for 35 years. She was a former member of the Winadausis Extension Unit, Only Neighbor Club and Star Valley Club. She had served for several years as a township committee leader and on an election board.
She married George Arzberger on Dec. 24, 1932. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Donna Brewer, Garden City, Mo., and Rosella Hayes, Topeka; three brothers, Harry Bergman and Ray Bergman, both in LaCygne, and James Bergman, Fort Scott; three sisters, Alta Cole, LaCygne, Marjorie McGinnis, Fort Scott, and Ruth Allison, Marshall, Mo.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery in LaCygne
