After graduating High School she attended Salina Beauty School. She owned and operated beauty shops in Republic and Larned, Kansas, before moving to Colorado. She was united in marriage to Glen F Bailey in Denver and they owned and operated the Wagon Wheel Drive-Inn in Silverthorne, Colorado. They returned to Webber where she owned and operated Frances' Beauty Shop for many years.
