Mrs Floyd L Anderson, Sr

Mrs Floyd L Anderson, Sr lifetime resident of Cloud County, died suddenly Wednesday, March 14. She was 74.

Mrs Anderson the former Mary A Burch, was born June 30, 1904 at Concordia, KS, a daughter of Archie and Ida Campbell Burch. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church and worked for twenty-five years at the Seymour Packing Co. before she retired.

She was married to Floyd L Anderson February 16, 1923 at Beloit, KS. Mrs Anderson is survived by her husband; four daughters - Florence, now Mrs Elvin Basart of Clay Center, Dorothy, now Mrs John Betzner of Concordia; Frances, now Mrs William D Hall of Wichita; and Virginia, now Mrs Jack Moss of Glasco. Six sons, Floyd Jr and wife Darlene, Great Bend; James W and wife Norma Jean of Russell; Charles R and wife Bea of Commerce City, CO; Roy L and wife Kay of Concordia; Elton and wife Rosetta of Concordia and Robert and wife Jane of Fort Worth, TX. Three sisters: Mrs Mabel Eakins; Mrs Frances Mendenhall; and Mrs Blossom Fisher all of Concordia. Two brothers: John Burch of Mankato, and Herbert Burch of Ames. Thirty-five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jean; her parents and a brother.
