Wife of George F Andrews
ELLSWORTH - Martha E. Andrews, 101, died June 6, 2009, in Ellsworth. She was born January 22, 1908, in Superior, Nebraska to David and May Qubit Elliott. Martha was a homemaker and teacher. She was a member of Kansas Cattlewomen, founding member of Ellsworth County Historical Society, and the author of "He was the Sherman Ranch." On June 6, 1935, she married George F Andrews. He died October 30, 1962. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers. Martha is survived by a son, Charles, Kanopolis; a daughter, Jeannette Gregg, Polson, Montana; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church, or Good Samaritan Retirement Village, in care of the funeral home, PO Box 45, Ellsworth, Kansas 67439
