OBIT
CULVER -- Marvin Leo Gorrell, 77, Culver, died Saturday, February 12, 2005.

Mr. Gorrell was born March 18, 1927, in Mutual, Okla. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Kepple) Gorrell.

Survivors include two sons, David of Brookville and Michael of Salina; two daughters, Patricia Dickerson of Freeman, Mo., and Cathryn Cavasos of Ulysses; a sister, Charlene Sisler of Wichita; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Culver Union Cemetery, rural Ottawa County, with military honors by Fort Riley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Culver United Methodist Church or Culver First Presbyterian Church.
