Henrietta Gohada Anntinette Avenarius:
"A native of Holland, having been born there Jan. 1, 1858, and came to the United States when seven years old, living in New York City six months, then moving to Wisconsin with her parents October 9 1864, until she was 16 when the family came to Kansas in a covered wagon August 1870 and homesteaded near Culver.
On May 30, 1878, she was married and she and her husband homesteaded a farm three miles northeast of Culver, where they spent their remaining years."-
