Ethel Knox, 79, Salina, was born in Syracuse, KS on February 9, 1937 and went to meet her Savior on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.
Ethel was a loving spouse, mother and grandmother who retained her humor and love of life and God to the end.
She was the Pastor and Co-founder of Faith Word Fellowship, former President of Women’s Aglow, taught numerous adult Bible studies, Good News Clubs and anchored a Christian ACCESS television program.
Survived by her husband, Larry, of the home and daughters Deb Burt (Norman), Penny Monroe (Mike), and Bev Cleveland (Blaine) all of Salina.
There are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who call her “Grandma.”
She is survived by brother, Ronnie Base (Mary) and sisters, Veta Armstrong (Joe) and Judy Fiorini (Mike). Sister-in-law, Sharon Knox and Brother-in-law, Dale Knox (Renate).
She was preceded in death by brother, Donald Base (Rose), Clarence Base (Lou), and sisters, Bertha Whittney and Emma White (surviving spouse, Dean).
