Mrs. Olive Watson, 84, died last night at the McAtee Nursing Home.
Mrs. Watson was born at Bronson the daughter of Enoche and Sarah Jane Fox Baldwin. She was a telephone operator a number of years. She and her husband, Rufus, were married April 17,1912 in Russell, KS. He died in 1963. They homesteaded at Two Buttes, Colorado, in 1916. They lived at Fort Myer, Florida, and Wichita before moving to Iola in 1935.
She was a member of the Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Maude Nichelson and Mrs. George Hibbs, both of Yates Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Waugh Funeral Home. The Rev. P.M. Cowen will officiate and burial will be at Bronson.
