Daughter of Fredrick Wilheim Triebel and Susan Greider Triebel
Excerpt taken from The Edna Enterprise, October 14, 1904 (said article describes the train wreck and the loss of the Ragel family):
Rose Emma Triebel was born in Fayette County, Ills., Sept. 20, 1959. She was united in marriage to Phillip Ragel in January 1878, and in 1884 moved to Kansas. To them were born four sons and two daughters, one son and a daughter died in infancy. Another son, James was kicked by a horse several years ago and died. They owned a beautiful home five miles southwest of this city and their's was a model household. That they were honored and respected was attested by the number who sorrow at their untimely end. None speak of them but in words of highest praise.
