Nina Mae Clark, 77, Uniontown, died suddenly Tuesday evening at Mercy Hospital of an apparent heart ailment.
She was born Nov. 14, 1895, in Sanborn, Iowa, the daughter of John J. and Clara Croft Chambers. She moved to Uniontown in 1914. She married Ernest K. Clark, June 24, 1915, in Fort Scott.
She was a member of the Uniontown Methodist Church, WSCS and Mary A. Hepler Chapter of OES.
Survivors included the husband of the home; two sons, Russell of Uniontown and Roy of Fort Scott; one brother, Hod Chamber of Los Angeles; four half-brothers, John, Harold and Lowell Chambers, all of Uniontown, and Woodrow Chambers of Iola; two half-sisters, Mrs. Maude Cleaver and Mrs. Dorothy Walsh, both of Iola; her step-mother, Mrs. Mildred Chambers; also of Iola; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Uniontown Methodist Church with Rev. Lyman Lauver officiating. Interment was in the Uniontown Cemetery.
