Mrs Ida Burch

Mrs Ida Burch, longtime resident of Concordia, died Sunday morning at St Joseph Hospital. She was 90.

Mrs Ida Burch was born March 20, 1880, at Ponce de Leon, MO, a daugther of James Walter and Isabell Campbell. She was a member of Woman's Relief Corps.

Mrs Burch came to the Concordia community in 1895 from Nebraska. She was married to Archie Burch Nov 18, 1900, at Beloit. He died Dec 3, 1958.

Mrs Burch is survived by two sons, John Burch of Mankato and Herbert Burch, Ames; four daughters: Mrs Mabel Eakins, Mary, now Mrs Floyd L Anderson,Sr; Mrs.Blossom Fisher, and Mrs Everett Mendenhall, all of Concordia; a daughter-in-law, Mrs Viola Burch of Concordia; 25 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Charles Burch.
