Wilbur A. Tucker
Wilbur A. Tucker, 90, formerly of 304 W. Elm, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Kenwood View Nursing Home.
Mr. Tucker was born Aug 6, 1897, in Salina and was a lifelong resident. He was a retired farmer and dairy worker and operated the Tucker Grocery Store in Salina for many years. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Salina Masonic Lodge.
His wife, Hazel Maude, died in 1978.
Survivors include two daughters, J. Dean Bensman of 649 Briarcliff and LaRie Youngdahl of 225 S. Penn; a sister Edna Corman of Beverly; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ryan Mortuary, the Rev. Herman Frerichs officiating. Burial will be in the Culver Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
