August 5, 1867 - November 17, 1908
W S was the son of John W. and Elizabeth Rhoton Brown. He was born and died in Bourbon County, KS. He first married Minnie M Mason.
W S and Minnie were the parents of Lenna, Elton and Flossie Belle.
Elton's wife was Blanche A. Drake. Husband of Lenna was a Mr. Winter and Flossie was D. R. Rogers.
Minnie passed away and W S married Olive Perry Rhoton. Olive brought two children to the marriage: Nettie M. and William Eli Rhoton. Nettie died at age 15 and William Eli's wife was Lucile, maiden name unknown.
W S and Olive were the parents of four children: Nellie, Roy S, Chester "Otis" and Ruth A Nellie's husband was Earl Bonner; Roy's wife, Fern Goodno; Otis' wife, Stella Lehman; and Ruth's husband, Herbert Leadstrom.
W.S. died of tuberculosis.
