Stella was first married to Chester "Otis" Brown. After he passed away she married Russell Hammons.

Stella M. Hammons
Hammons, Stella M., 85, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1995. Service 1 p.m. Saturday, Uniontown United Methodist Church.
Survivors: stepdaughters, Margaret Mapes of Fort Scott, Clara Botkin of Houston; brother, Max Lehman of Seattle; sister, Pauline Anderson of Colorado Springs; six step grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren.
Memorial has been established with Uniontown United Methodist Church. Kunkel Funeral Chapel, Moran.
