Martha Jane Haddock was born in Barry Co., MO to Nathan Haddock and Virginia Anna Chunning. She married Eli Rhoton 30 Dec 1866 in Bourbon Co KS. They had 6 children: Thomas Josiah Rhoton, Henry Franklin Rhoton, Matilda Angeline Rhoton (Wilson), Robert Eli Rhoton, James Allen Rhoton and Ann E Rhoton.
