FOOTPRINTS OF BOURBON COUNTY FAMILIES 1991 (Page 81)
Henry (Lewis "Henry" Keith) was the 9th child and was aged 2 when his mother died. His father's death left him an orphan at age 15 and he went to Bourbon County, Kansas, with Shipp relatives.
Henry Keith married Olive Jeannette Mason of Uniontown on 23 December 1888. She died 10 June 1917 and is buried in Hatch Cemetery. They lived south of Uniontown and had eight children. He married 2nd wife Elizabeth Biar and settled near Spearman, Texas in 1919. All but the youngest son remained in Kansas.
Henry died 17 April 1935 and is buried in Texas. His descendants still live in Bourbon, Allen, and Crawford Counties of Kansas.
