Former Postmaster of Unintown and Early Resident of Rockford Valley Died This Morning
B.F. Mason, a well known resident of Uniontown, and former postmaster there, died at an early hour this morning at the family home. He has lived in Bourbon county since the sixties and lived on a farm in the Rockford Valley before moving to town. He has been in failing health for many months.
Mr. Mason is survived by a widow, a daughter, Mrs. Maggie Pool, who was at his bedside, a daughter, Mrs. Caroline Anderson of Washington and a son, David Mason, of Colony, Kans. He was past 70 years old and a native of Ohio. He had long been a member of the Methodist church.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
