Lyle Lee Ramsey, 84, Route 1, Uniontown, died Saturday, March 19, 1984, at Fort Scott Mercy Hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1910, at Uniontown, the son of Martin Luther and Jesse Irene Brittian Ramsey. He married Anna May Rogers on April 7, 1930, at Uniontown. He was a farmer in the Uniontown area and owned and operated school buses for the U-235 School District for 29 years.
Ramsey was a member of the Uniontown United Methodist Church, Uniontown Ruritan Club and lifetime member of the Uniontown FFA.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; four sons, Lee Luther Ramsey, Denver, Colo., Leo Lyle Ramsey, Pittsburg, Dan S. Ramsey, Uniontown, and Mickey Ramsey, Bronson; one daughter, Lucille B. Galloway, Denver, Colo.; one brother Elmo Ramsey, Uniontown; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
The Revs. Sherry and Tim Harlan and the Rev. Chub Bolling conducted services on Tuesday, March 22nd at the Uniontown Methodist Church.
