Roscoe E. Jones, 66 Garnett, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, at Golden Heights Living Center.
He was born June 24, 1936, the son of Georgie Blanche (Willis) and Amel Roscoe Jones at Uniontown. He was a farmer and stockman and had lived in the Garnett area throughout his adult life.
Survivors include two sons, Sheldon Jones and Timothy Jones, both of Garnett; two daughters, Sherry Jones, Garnett, and Lori Johnson, Cummins, Ga.; a sister, Rhonda McCollam, Independence; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Farris-Feuerborn Chapel in Garnett. Pastors Judy Brown and Gary Benjamin officiated. The family greeted friends Sunday evening at the funeral home. Burial was in the Uniontown Cemetery.
