CHARLES L. (PETE) Jones
Charles L. (Pete) Jones, 55, 407 S. Holbrook, underwriter for the Western Insurance Companies, died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, (1977) at Mercy Hospital. He was born at Uniontown, Oct. 28, 1921, the son of Carme and Lois Brown Jones. He married Reta Marie Nichols March 22, 1943 at Uniontown. She survives at the home.
Also surviving are a son and daughter, Gary Jones of Drexel, MO and Mrs. Evelyn Christensen of Neola, Iowa; four grandchildren; and one brother, Robert G. Jones of 1379 Marblecrest Drive.
Mr. Jones had worked for the Western 31 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Clair C. Harkey Post, American Legion.
Services were held Saturday morning at Cheney's Memorial Chapel with Ray Dobbins officiating. Burial was in the Uniontown Cemetery.
