Nancy Ann Kerlee was born October 18, 1873 at Farlington, Kansas, the daughter of William and Rebecca Kerlee, and departed this life September 18, 1933 at Fort Scott, Kansas, age 59 years and 11 months, after several months illness of heart trouble.
She was united in marriage to Charles Delbert Jones September 3, 1895 at Pittsburg, Kansas. To this union was born three children, the eldest dying in infancy. Left to mourn her loss are two sons Carme E., of Uniontown and Amel R. of the home address, two grandsons Charles Lewis and Robert Gordon; her mother Mrs. Kerlee of Arma; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mead of Westwood, California, Mrs. Josephine Holt of Arma, Ks., and one brother G. W. Kerlee of Uniontown. Interment was made in the Uniontown cemetery beside her husband who preceded her in death six years ago.
